Manchester CS Inc. is a proud bronze-level sponsor of the 6th Annual WBC Ignite Awards. The awards celebrate women entrepreneurship by recognizing the inspiring journeys of local women-owned businesses in Western New York.
The awards luncheon will be held on May 12, 2023, at Canisius College. Five Western New York women will be honored for their dedication and hard work as female entrepreneurs, business owners, and self-starters. The event will celebrate these women honorees and will provide an excellent opportunity for networking with the community.
The Ignite Awards were created by the Canisius College Women’s Business Center (WBC) to bring the business community together with women entrepreneurs to support their business growth and foster a thriving economy.
According to the 2018 State of Women-Owned Business Report by American Express, 4 out of every 10 businesses in the US are women-owned. Women-owned businesses employ 9.2 million people and generated $1.8 trillion in revenue. The WBC recognizes the critical role these businesses play in the community and to the economy and in every way possible strives to create opportunities to drive their growth.
